STORAGE CONTRACT CP001/02

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF STORAGE

1. The minimum Term of storage is 12 months unless otherwise agreed in writing;

2. Safe Hands retain the right to terminate this Contract immediately and with no liability to Safe Hands in the event of breach of these Terms and Conditions, and in other events with one month's written notice;

3. Storage fees are for one year, payable one month in advance, at the published rates, and may be altered by Safe Hands by written notice to be received at a minimum of one month prior to end of Term;

4. In the event of late payment of the storage fee late payment fees will be charged in accordance with published rates and:

a. Safe Hands shall be entitled to retain possession of the Vehicle until the arrears are settled in full. Safe Hands shall give notice of possession in writing by recorded delivery to the address above;

b. In the event that payment is not received within one month of possession, legal action will be taken in accordance with The Torts Interference with Goods Act 1977, and Safe Hands shall take reasonable steps to sell the Vehicle at the best price then available based on current market values;

c. The outstanding storage fees, together with costs incurred, shall be deducted from the sales proceeds, and any remaining balance shall be retained for your collection;

5. All vehicles must be insured and kept insured at all times during the storage period;

6. All stored caravans, trailers, motorhomes, boats etc. (the "Vehicle") must be secured in accordance with the conditions of the owner's insurance policy;

7. All personal effects and valuable must be removed from the Vehicle, and windows and doors to be locked during storage on the site;

8. Vehicles must not be inhabited during the storage period;

9. Wherever possible, remove all gas bottles. No other noxious, dangerous, hazardous, or explosive goods are permitted on site;

10. Vehicles must be parked correctly or left secure;

11. Access to the site is as per published times. A minimum 2 hours notice is required for access to and from the site;

12. The allocated pitch and the site must be kept tidy: no litter must be left on site;

13. Storage pitches are not transferable without Safe Hands written agreement;

14. No trading is permitted from the site, and Vehicles must not be offered or advertised for sale while on site without Safe Hands written agreement;

15. No major repairs should be carried out on site;

16. Safe Hands shall act at all times with due diligence in providing secure storage;

17. No liability shall be accepted for damage caused by vermin infestation nor for loss or damage caused by any other means beyond or outside the duty of due diligence;

18. Any changes to these Terms and Conditions shall be notified to the owner without undue delay.
